The YCC Fitness Center located in Penn Yan first opened its doors in 2005 in what is now known as the Wellspring Community Center. In 2015, we moved into the newly built Fitness Center at 467 N Main St, where it’s located today. Having served hundreds of community members throughout Yates County and the surrounding Finger Lakes region, the YCC decided to expand its Fitness Center to continue impacting our local community.
Currently, our Fitness Center serves more than 2,000 community members each year. The YCC thrives itself on offering residents and visitors a Fitness Center that is accessible and affordable for its entire community. Our local Fitness Center offers various cardio and strengthening equipment to support the fitness level of all members.

Our hope is to educate all residents and visitors on how to properly and safely use the exercise equipment provided at the YCC. Keuka College OT Graduate Students have provided videos and descriptions on how to use the main exercise equipment.
At the YCC, we understand the barriers when it comes to affording a gym membership. This is why we are strategically priced to make our Fitness Center accessible and affordable to all.

Our Group Fitness Classes* are open to all members at the Yates Community Fitness Center! Our morning Fitness Classes are perfect for fitness lovers of all levels. See below for our Fitness Class Rates and Packages.
Currently, we offer two different Fitness Classes two times a week - Strength and Balance, and Pilates. Each class is instructed by our very own Dawn Shipman, a NETA-certified group fitness instructor.

*Any scheduled exercise class may be canceled at the instructor's discretion due to reasons such as bad weather, the instructor’s vacation, illness, or holidays. Please note that no refunds will be provided for class cancellations, including those due to holidays, inclement weather, or scheduled gym closures.
