Have you ever wanted to master the art of sourdough baking? Now’s your chance!


Join us for Sourdough from Scratch, a hands-on workshop where you'll learn the basics of creating and maintaining a sourdough starter, handling dough, and troubleshooting common issues—all from Ashley Tusch, owner of October Farms Sourdough Microbakery.


This interactive class is designed for beginners and will walk you through every step of the process. You’ll mix your own starter to take home, work with pre-made dough, and gain the confidence to bake fresh, homemade sourdough in your own kitchen.


Class Details:

📅 Date: Saturday, April 5
⏰ Time: 10:00 AM- 12:00 PM
📍 Location: Wellspring Fellowship, 465 North Main Street, Penn Yan
💰 Cost: $60 per person
👥 Class Size: Limited to 10 participants


All materials provided, including mason jars, flour, purified water, and mixing tools.

Ashley’s personal health journey led her to take an in depth look at food and ingredients; bringing her into the wonderful world of sourdough where October Farms was born.
